Every chart from here was introduced to me as a means to explain what a design system is, whether from a presentation, an article, or a slack post. You have to consider that each team member/stakeholder may not have a blank slate with no context. They may have seen other ideas about what design systems are or tried to educate themselves prior to seeing a chart. Regardless of how it works with individual teams, it has had the effect of confusing the community at large who then bring this confusion back to their teams.
